TOPEKA IS HOSTING THE 2010 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT AT
GAGE PARK LABOR DAY WEEKEND
To
qualify to pitch in the State Championship Tournament, you must pitch in at
least one
sanctioned KHPA tournament by August 1, 2010 (see KHPA Tournaments).
The
public is invited to pitch in all of our tournaments at Gage Park,
including the state tournament.
These round robin tournaments will cost $10, except for the state tournament
which is $20.
For sanctioned tournaments, a $25 annual NHPA
(National Horseshoe Pitchers Association) membership card will be
required and can be purchased during registration. The
NHPA Cadet (under 10) & Junior (10 - 18) membership cards are $7 per year.
Participants are required to pay the scorekeeper 50 cents per game.
All tournaments are open to the public with beginners pitching against
beginners. Loaner horseshoes are available if needed.
